The investment objective of the fund is to provide long-term capital growth by tracking the performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index, while ensuring that units of the fund do not constitute foreign property for investors. The fund will invest primarily in Canadian money market investments. It uses options, futures and forward contracts whose value is based on the Nasdaq-100 Index. This fund seeks to generate a return similar to the Nasdaq-100 Index in U.S. dollars, giving investors exposure to the largest and most active non-financial U.S. and international issues listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market. As the assets of this fund are primarily held in Canadian dollars, it will not be affected by U.S. dollar fluctuations. This differs from the more typical U.S. fund, in which the assets are held in U.S. dollars, which would be subject to currency fluctuations.
